Ryley is going to be an artist like her Daddy!

Cowboy boots

Ryley loves her cowboy boots. We got them at our ward's clothing exchange. It's like our ward's own DI, except everything is free. We like free. Anyway, Ryley insisted on wearing her cowboy boots when we went camping along the Appalacian Trail in the Shenandoah National Park last weekend. She also insisted on hiking much of the trail in her cowboy boots, instead of riding in the backpack. It was starting to get dark and we needed to find a campsite, so we finally convinced her to get in the backpack.

Free pianos are nice

It's not every day you find someone who wants to give you a baby grand piano for free. So when we were offered a free piano we had to take it, even though it pretty much fills up our front room.
